As a local business ourselves, Hobsons Bay Physio is proud to be able to give back to our local community who are always supporting us.
We assist a number of local sporting clubs through game attendance, facilitating physio-backed training sessions and classes, and offering one-on-one visits at our clinic so that our local sporting stars can stay fit, active, and on top of their games.
Here are some of the local clubs we support:
Footscray Hockey Club
Footscray Hockey Club, located close to the centre of Melbourne, is one of Australia’s largest hockey clubs. They have members across the age ranges - from 4 years to 75 years - and they cater equally to men and women, delivering programs and opportunities for hockey players of all abilities.
The Dance Company
TDC - The Dance Company - is Melbourne’s premier performing arts school. Their passion is helping children discover the world of performance arts, and developing their talent and love of dance, song, and theatre! TDC welcomes any child (or adult) who wants to learn to dance, sing or perform!
Yarraville Seddon Eagles
The Yarraville Seddon Eagles are committed to providing a safe and family-friendly club to encourage and develop their junior and senior teams and players, fostering a culture of respect, fair play, self-confidence, leadership, and teamwork.
Williamstown SC
Run by unpaid volunteers, Williamstown SC is a club that has community and family values at its core. They pride themselves on welcoming new members to the fold, and they boast a blend of rich ethnic heritage, a young team of local community members, and a wonderful mix of old friends and new.
Williamstown Superules Football Club
The Williamstown Superules FC provides the opportunity for players 35 years and over to enjoy the game of Aussie rules football in a safe, fun, and family-friendly environment.
Altona Sports Centre
The Altona Sports Centre, located on Queen Street in Altona Meadows, is one of Hobson Bay’s most popular sporting facilities. It currently comprises of six indoor basketball and netball courts, two outdoor netball courts, and a kiosk area. The centre services Hobson Bay residents, as well as those of neighbouring municipalities.
Western Suburbs Triathlon Club
The Western Suburbs Triathlon Club (WSTC) provides a supportive structure for athletes of all ages and abilities. Affiliated with Triathlon Victoria, WSTC has been one of the biggest clubs in Victoria for many years.
MDX
MDX, based in Williamstown, is Melbourne’s leading dance school, offering a variety of classes and programs in performing arts and dance. They are committed to creating an environment for children and young people to feel and be safe, as well as fostering their love for dance and the performing arts.
